Located in beautiful Northern Michigan, Sportsman’s Port has been serving paddlers and campers since 1970. Nestled in the heart of the Manistee National Forest, we proudly service the scenic Pine River, known as one of Northern Michigan’s most beautiful waterways.
Paddlers can choose from canoe, kayak, or raft rentals while enjoying a river experience surrounded by natural beauty. The Pine River is also a Blue Ribbon trout stream and is known for having the fastest average flow of any river in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
Our campground offers 40 acres of hardwoods with cabin rentals, electric sites, and primitive camping options. Guests can enjoy a clean bathhouse with 7 hot showers, men’s and women’s restrooms, two pavilions with electric and concrete floors, a community fire pit, basketball and volleyball courts, a small playground, and a camp store stocked with well-seasoned firewood, ice, and other camping supplies.
